FRUITS, GIFTINGS AND ANOINTINGS.

John 15:1-8 When you know the personality of the Holy Spirit and therefore have a relationship with him, it should result in you having a continual fellowship with him. You will grow to bear fruits and receive his anointing and gifts.

Galatians 5:22-26 – Fruits of the Spirit

1 Corinthians 12:3-11 – Gifts and Administrations of the Spirit.

1. 1 Corinthians 14:1 - 6. Verse 6 “Now brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

Tongue speaking is profitable only onto the speaker; to be profitable unto the rest of the church, every tongue speaker must move on to other areas of the gifts and anointing that would be profitable to all.

For this reason we must emphasize that all those who genuinely speaking tongues should move on into other areas of the manifestations of the Holy Spirit to prove their baptism of the Holy Spirit.

2. Tongue speaking is speech, not mono syllables. Therefore he who begins tongue speaking must grow into full sentences. If it is a sentence, then he who has the interpretation of tongues can understand to interpret, except when it is edifying or groaning of the Spirit. (Romans 8:26-27)

3. The Pastor must encourage his membership to be aware of all the other nine (9) gifts and ensure that there is a desire to have them. (1 Corinthians 12:7 – 11; I Corinthians 14: 1)
